We are working towards an accessible design that ensures this outcome in accordance with European Union (Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies) Regulations 2020.

Measures to support accessibility

We have always given strong focus and consideration to implementing accessible content on our portals and platforms. For many years now, we have been engaged with an external accessibility auditing partner to audit our content in conformance with the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines. Over the last year, we have increased the number of accessibility audits conducted, to achieve a high standard of accessible content in our digital platforms. Our accessibility partner is now embedded in many of our functional teams. We have a continual service improvement plan in place, to improve the end-user experience for our customers who use assistive technology.

Compliance status is partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 AA standard. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. Some of these items are listed below, and we have a plan in place to address these.
