ESB West Durham Wind Farm, England
Summer 2018
Original Craigneil Wind Farm application submission following consultation events in Stonehaven and Netherley.
September 2022
Planning permission granted for Craigneil Wind Farm for 11 turbines at 135m tip height, generating capacity at 35 MW.
Introduced plans for the redesign of Craigneil Wind Farm - a reduction from 11 turbines to 7 turbines, increase in height from 135m to 180m and increase in capacity from 35MW to 42MW.
Two public exhibition events in Stonehaven for the redesign held in June and September. Thank you and we hope you can take part in the consultation events.

S42 planning application for the revised scheme submitted to Aberdeenshire Council.

Comments made at this stage do not constitute a formal planning representation. Any representations should be made to Aberdeenshire Council.
LATE 2026
Expected decision by Aberdeenshire Council on the planning application for the revised scheme.
