To celebrate Clean Air Day 2019, EV drivers can avail of a free 20-minute rapid charge on 20th June across ESB’s rapid charging network in London and Coventry.
ESB currently operates a network of 88 rapid chargers in London and Coventry.
There are currently 18 chargers installed in Coventry and 70 in London.
How to avail of a free 20-minute charge?
For those already registered, just use the ESB rapid charging point as normal via the ESB EV Plug In app or by swiping your ESB RFID access card. The first twenty minutes are free with normal charges applied thereafter.
For those not registered, just download the ESB EV plug In app available from the Apple app store or Google Play store or through our website www.esb-evsolutions.co.uk. Sign up as a PAYG, or to our Membership or Taxi packages and avail of the promotion. The first twenty minutes are free with normal charges applied thereafter.
Clean Air Day is coordinated by Global Action Plan. It is the UK's largest annual air pollution campaign which culminates in a day of mass public engagement on 20th June 2019, enabling the public to improve air quality and their health. It brings together individuals, communities, businesses, education and the health sector to: improve public understanding of the sources of air pollution, explain some of the easy things we can all do to tackle air pollution and encourage people to make lifestyle choices that help to protect the environment.
